HR-Prof is a high quality water based fire retardant that protects wood against burning, ignition and extends service lifetime of the exposed to the weather conditions timber. Once absorbed into the surface of the wood HR-Prof combines chemically within the cell structure, but does not form a surface finish, which allows the wood to breath naturally and to be treated by finishing products.

HR-Prof is certificated according to EU Regulation No:305/2011 (Construction Products Regulation).

The effeciency of HR-Prof is tested and approved internationally, it meets the classifications of:

• Reaction to fire, Euroclass B-s1-d0 (EN 130501-1);
• Resistance to fire: K1 10/ K210 (EN 13501-2).

It is designed for the treatment of wood and wooden components in buildings and other structures either under construction or being restored. The product is suitable for both hardwood and conifer. Wood treated with HR-Prof complies with EU Construction Products Regulations, enabling customers to apply for a CE mark on treated timber.
