Intumescent coating is a type of functional coating that belongs to the fire-retardant variety, often used in buildings as a passive fire resistance measure. This kind of coating will insulate steel substrates when exposes to fire, while providing an aesthetically pleasing finish on exposed structural steel members.

International IPS has been distributed Intumescent coatings from Nulifire brand – a market leader in intumescent coating in the last 40 years. Originally from the UK, Nulifire intumescent coatings have been exhaustively tested and proved to meet BS 476, EN13381, ASTM E119, AS 4100 standards, as well as passing multiple independent tests from 3rd party certifiers from all over the world.

The products has been developed to satisfy all fireproofing challenges that most projects are facing in commercial construction. Nulifire coatings are applicable in variety conditions: interior, exterior, or even high in humidity. Some products of Nulifire (rapid-cure systems) can be used in condition in which humidity can go up to 95%; with 6mm thickness in just one coat. All are easy to pump and spray, efficient to apply whether you’re providing fire protection to ground floors or the upper reaches such as skyscrapers.
